Graduate students, postdocs and junior investigators from the fields of cell and developmental biology, physics and engineering, interested in cell and tissue morphodynamics. Admission is limited to 20 participants to allow comfortable access to the instruments. Participation is subject to selection from online applications (see below).
No fee is charged to attend this Course. Selected applicants will have free accommodation (twin share) and local hospitality for the duration of the Course. A limited number of grants will be available to help covering the travel costs of participants from ICGEB Member States, Spain and Portugal. Other participants are expected to cover their own travel.
Application Deadline: November 29th 2018
Notification of Selected Students: Second week of December, 2018.
ICGEB Course starts March 25th 2019, 8:30 hrs and ends April 2nd, 12:00 hrs.
EMBO Workshop starts April 2nd 2019, 12:00 hrs and ends April 5th, 12:00 hrs.
The course will take place in LEO and SCIAN-lab, at the Biomedical Neuroscience Institute, and the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Chile.
Selected students will be automatically registered as participants of the EMBO Workshop "Bridging cell and tissue mechanics to fate specification in development".
Please fill the Application form at the official ICGEB application platform of the course.
Selection will be based on applicants’ CV and potential benefit for their career. Geographical (with a special focus on Latin America) and gender balance, will also be considered.
Selected Students and grant availability will be informed during the second week of December 2018.
